Never climbed before and tempted to get involved? Seasoned pro looking to meet like-minded climbers and join us on our amazing value trips? Membership is open to all at just £14 for the year!

Note: As a member, you must must have BMC insurance to come on trips (offered through the club at a discounted rate), which costs £26.23 for the year and covers you for climbing, mountaineering and hill walking.

• Free roped climbing instruction from trained and experienced committee members on Wednesday afternoons.
• Access to our extensive collection of club gear.
• Fantastic value weekend trips across the country to beautiful outdoor climbing locations such as the Lake District, Peak District, Portland, and Snowdonia.
• Unmissable week-long sport climbing trip over the Easter break, with recent destinations including Croatia, Sicily, and Kalymnos.
• Opportunities to compete individually or for the club.
• Loads of social events, including bar crawls, house parties, and much more!
• Casual climbing sessions throughout the week.
• Support from the club to help access financial aid (Activity hardship fund, Simon Spencer-Jones Memorial fund, and help to access subsidised courses like Brownhill Memorial Fund and Conville course).

New to Climbing?

Our GIAG sessions, which run at the beginning of each term, do not require membership. We will be running several indoor bouldering and sport climbing sessions as well as outdoor sessions in Avon Gorge. No matter what experience you have, the GIAGs are a great opportunity to go climbing with a bunch of lovely like-minded people. Dates for these sessions will be posted on Instagram when confirmed.
